Install problems

Post by chicagotransam » Fri Oct 12, 2007 8:00 pm

I had to completely wipe my forums out. I even removed CGI access on my site and reinstalled it. However, now when I try and reinstall PHPBB, I get and error "'phpbb_banlist' already exists". Is there a way to "rebuild" the forum or something? Or another way to wipe it off my site completely? I have tried everything I can come up with.

I have also tried the re-installation of config.php btw.

You need to drop the tables in the database.

Thanks.

You do not wish to retain your members, posts etc., is that correct? In phpMyAdmin, select your database on the left pane. In the right pane, at the bottom, click "Check all", then in the "With selected" dropdown, select "DROP". Then click Go. Done.
