apostrophe thing

I followed psoTFX’s instructions on this thread (Fri Feb 15, 2002 1:41 am) and my board works perfectly with the em-dash and smart quotes. I use them all the time. Take a look: http://www.everythingimportant.org

Can a smart (curly) apostrophe cause text to be repeated?

I had a user unintentionally insert a post with numerous curly apostrophes. When it displayed, several paragraphs were repeated. I removed the apostrophes and the post looked fine.
