There's probably two occurrences of the second FIND line so they've set the script to find the larger part first, then the second occurrence.

'least that's how it usually works with a double-find command.

OK - did that. Works fine now with no error messages. Thanks for the help.

However the upgrade to 2.0.23 still shows up as an unprocessed mod in EasyMOD. Do I need to install the mod again? :?: I already ran it once befor the upgrade_to_latest.php execution in the browser.
it may be seeing a different file . Don't worry about it, you can just delete the update folder from your admin/mods folder and be done with it.

He, about this code changes:

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# Line 913
$username = $group_moderator['username'];
$user_id = $group_moderator['user_id'];

generate_user_info($group_moderator, $board_config['default_dateformat'], $is_moderator, $from, $posts, $joined, $poster_avatar, $profile_img, $profile, $search_img, $search, $pm_img, $pm, $email_img, $email, $www_img, $www, $icq_status_img, $icq_img, $icq, $aim_img, $aim, $msn_img, $msn, $yim_img, $yim);

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# Line 918
$s_hidden_fields .= '';

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]---------------------------------------------
#
$s_hidden_fields .= '<input type="hidden" name="sid" value="' . $userdata['session_id'] . '" />';

at the line 437 of the codechanges.txt

But i can't understand, i need only change this ?
$s_hidden_fields .= '';
with new code ?
It's right ?

Thanks.
I've another problem now.
in includes/functions.php i need to search:

elseif ( $userdata['user_id'] === ANONYMOUS && $board_config['default_lang'] !== $default_lang )

But i don't have this code, i've only this:

if ( $userdata['user_id'] != ANONYMOUS && $userdata['user_lang'] !== $default_lang )

How i need to modify this ?

This is my complete code:

if ( $userdata['user_id'] != ANONYMOUS && $userdata['user_lang'] !== $default_lang )
{
$sql = 'UPDATE ' . USERS_TABLE . "
SET user_lang = '" . $default_lang . "'
WHERE user_lang = '" . $userdata['user_lang'] . "'";

if ( !($result = $db->sql_query($sql)) )
{
message_die(CRITICAL_ERROR, 'Could not update user language info');
}

$board_config['default_lang'] = $default_lang;
$userdata['user_lang'] = $default_lang;
}
elseif ( $board_config['default_lang'] !== $default_lang )
{
$sql = 'UPDATE ' . CONFIG_TABLE . "
SET config_value = '" . $default_lang . "'
WHERE config_name = 'default_lang'";

if ( !($result = $db->sql_query($sql)) )
{
message_die(CRITICAL_ERROR, 'Could not update user language info');
}

$board_config['default_lang'] = $default_lang;
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_main.' . $phpEx);

Yes that is all you need to do

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# Line 913
	$username = $group_moderator['username'];
	$user_id = $group_moderator['user_id'];

	generate_user_info($group_moderator, $board_config['default_dateformat'], $is_moderator, $from, $posts, $joined, $poster_avatar, $profile_img, $profile, $search_img, $search, $pm_img, $pm, $email_img, $email, $www_img, $www, $icq_status_img, $icq_img, $icq, $aim_img, $aim, $msn_img, $msn, $yim_img, $yim);

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# Line 918
	$s_hidden_fields .= '';

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]---------------------------------------------
#
	$s_hidden_fields .= '<input type="hidden" name="sid" value="' . $userdata['session_id'] . '" />';
Can I ask what the extra "find" is for then? as all seems pretty straignt forward except this bit of code which tells you to find something, then another find that is on a totally different line than the first find command

It's usually to advance you past an earlier instance of the same find string, to make sure you find the correct one when it occurs multiple times.

Code: Select all

Error Detail

<option value="9" class="genmed">{L_FONT_SMALL}</option>
<option value="12" selected class="genmed">{L_FONT_NORMAL}</option>

MOD script line #952 :: FAQ :: Report
Does this means I have to uninstall my AcidTech skins, then upgrade to 2.0.23, then reinstall my AcidTech skin? Or are there any way to go through this without uninstalling anything?

no it means that the mistake in subSilver that it is trying to fix , is not in your acid tech style, therefore it can't find the code.

if you are using easymod, then this is not a critical error and you can continue with the update.

easymod only craps out on critical errors and the only critical errors for tpl files will be in subSilver.

I would warn anyone trying to continue with the install with EasyMOD if it can't find any code. What it does is also delete the code that does exist in the templates or languages. I am going to Area 51 to report this issue.

What I would do is try to find out why the code doesn't match and then figure it out.

Easymod has an option to trial the changes before doing them for real, then you can check for any problems or fails before running it for real :)
