Yes, but you have to deal with the standard problems that you would run into from running CVS... things may act oddly.

I thought about trying a backup from the CVS version and restore to a RC-3 installation but the RC-3 install does not have a restore option in the admin page. Any ideas?

Almost everything went smooth, except for now I can not edit group permissions
Just clicks and goes back to the groups, ah well.

Went over the docs, still can't figure out exactly what is wrong. Having trouble posting new messaged, and I can make a group a moderator now they just dont show up.
heh
Changed over to the default sub template can at least post nand such now, group mods not showing up as mods, and my old template is just broke
Ah well no biggie, Ill figure it out eventually :D

Easy Upgrade

Post by Sexton »

I was running RC-2 with a few custom mods.

The upgrade went smoothly and the only complaint is that now I have to put back in some of the mods we came to like!

Thanks for all the work guys and come by to visit sometime at
