Simple question, simple answer

Post by DeckRev »

This is almost a waste of a topic, but I don't want to clog anyone's PM box.

I am setting up the Admin Toolkit, but I don't know what to fill in. So...

What is the host and what format should it be in?
What format is the database in?
And I assume the username/password are the same for accessing both the above?

I know I have all this information, but since I was recently made admin of this site, there are still things I'm figuring out. Thanks in advance!

not sure what you are doing here.

the admin toolkit only asks you for a password , make one up, put it in the file, then upload the file and go to it in your browser.

This is to create the config.php file. It's asking:

Database Type
Host
Username
Password
Database
Table Prefix

I know the first and last, but the Host and Database have confused me.

You will find all the details in the phpBB config.php file :) It is also worth noting that the Admin toolkit is a mod and this is not the place to seek support for it, mod support should be sought from its download topic if it has one or the author :)

Thanks, consider that the end of this topic then. In the future, I will be more careful where I direct my questions. :D
