Question regarding "edited by" time stamp

Post by jlin » Fri Apr 11, 2003 1:48 pm

Hi,

Sometimes when I edit a post an "edited by... " time stamp appears and frequently it doesn't...

What determines whether the time stamp will appear?

thanks

Mhhh if i don't make mistake, it's always when the post is edited when there is a reply after, or 10 min later.

/me slaps ZoliveR a little bit around with a phpBB cookie :P

"edited by" appears when a user/admin/moderator edits his own posting after someone has replied. It does not appear when admins/moderators edit postings of other users. There's no 10-min-rule (however, IIRC, there's a MOD with this 10-min-rule)
