Something is corrupt!

Post by volvomad » Fri May 09, 2008 11:14 pm

This is an existing forum that has been running for some time. However, this evening the index page has been replaced with an information box simply stating "No new posts since your last visit". The header and footer are still intact.
The address of the forum is www.southwalesvolvos.com/phpbb/
Version 2.0.22 with many mods (the last one installed Nov 2007)
Please help!

OK, I did a search in the language file for the text that appeared. I then did a search in the index.php for the language trigger. Managed to narrow it down to the Guests See Only First Post mod (that has been on there fine for months!). Removed the mod from index.php - all working now (except that mod!)

Has anyone modified your index.php recently? (Check the file date in FTP)
Make sure index.php hasn't in fact been accidentally replaced with another file.
If you're still stuck, please post your index.php file here, between code tags.

I uploaded a copy of index.php from 30th April. It made no difference.
