Template Conditionals

Searched and didn't find.

Are there template conditionals like in phpBB3 or do you have to use php?

There are only "switches", which have to be created in the PHP calling the template.
Have you read Knowledge Base - phpBB2 Template Tutorial
The Knowledge Base contains solutions to many common problems!
