InstantForum -> phpbb?

Post by cascius » Wed Mar 23, 2005 9:30 pm

Hi guys, I need to convert an Instantforum.net BB to phpbb. I've searched for "instantforum" and "instant asp" and couldn't find anything.

Can anyone help me figure this one out or steer me in the right direction?

Here's a link to the makers of those boards: Instant ASP

Thanks,

-Cas

I also need to convert from InstantASP InstantForum 3.4. Has anyone made/found a convertor since the few mentions on this board?

Yes, PLEASE help us folks out who have been wooed by the darkside and were foolish enough to use InstantForum. I have seen the light, but I have to get archived posts into phpBB or I can't move forward with "doing the right thing"

Is anyone working on a converter?

The main obstacle seems to be that this forum package is a commercial product; i.e. very few people are willing to buy it just to write a converter. I'd see what I can do, if I had some sort of access to the database structure.
