Post by Lease » Tue Mar 20, 2007 6:19 am

Hi,

I've tryed googling this, but I can't seem to find anything.

Can anybody lead me into the correct direction for a link to a convertor that can convert my IP Board 2.2.2 to phpBB v2.0.x?

To my knowledge, I don't think there is a converter currently for the board currently.

What is an IP Board? If it is an Invision Power Board, try the convertor for 2.1.x. I think it will work.

Included with the convertor is a login.mod file. It explains how to modify login.php so your password will work. Open the file with a text editor and follow the instructions

Still can't get it working. I made these changes, but i got an error. It tells that the colum salt is unknow. When i manualy add this column it doesn't give this error but i still can't login using my normal loginname and password. Are there any other suggestions?

I've got:
IPB 2.0.3
phpBB 2.0.22

Thanks in advance for your answer,

FreeSat

You can't login because there is no value in the salt field.

Did you use the convertor made specifically for IPB 2.0.3, Invision 2.0.x convertor? This convertor will create the salt column and fill in the values.

The Invision 2.1.x convertor should work.
