works great with EMC! no problems and 100% success.

One suggestion though. When i "sort by user rank/descending" for example and click sort, it sorts just fine, but the selection boxes change to default "user id" "ascending". i think they should remain fixed at the setting i had chosen.

Great work.

That makes everything so much easier. Now to make a "select all"/"deselect all" button.

You should also consider preventing the deletion of the administrator (not sure if it does that...), too.

But I like the mod. Thanks man!

There is a select all / deselect all button...

Get the latest version here:

There is not currently a cashmod add on for this... and there are no plans to write one.

I myself use cashmod and I find it easy enough to click on a user's "open" link and click on their posts... then select a post to modify their points. I know this may be tiresome if you have many users to adjust... but I just don't have the time to code this. :-(

Error deleting

Post by thalador » Fri Dec 30, 2005 4:52 pm

I am sure it has been answered somewhere in the 70 pages, but the site is so slow I figured I would post and hope.

When I try and delete a user I get this

Could not delete group for this user

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 2

DELETE FROM nuke_bbgroups WHERE group_id =

Line : 299
File : admin_userlist.php

It does delete the user, but if I try multiple users it only does the first one. Any ideas milkboy? Kick a$$ mod by the way, thanks

Yup... back on pages 58-59 we discussed this issue. The problem is not caused by this MOD but is revealed by this mod.... Here is a quote that has a script referenced in it which will fix the issue at hand:

Anyone having the problem might first run the script in this topic and try it again.

Yes, that's it exactly!!! I was thinking about writing a script to do exactly that but it looks like someone already did it!

Tha script you link to checks every user to see if he has his own unique single user group; for anyone that doesn't, the script creates one for him. So assuming I am correct about why some people are having trouble with deletions, that script should fix things up fine.

Edit: And for the record, all mod credit goes to WgEric... he made the original... I'm just holding down the fort with fixes and updates as I can since he asked me to. ;-)

They all should. But that's what the script milkboy gave you a link to fixes.

be sure you aren't confused as to the definition of "personal usergroup"... go back and read my convo with Asinshesq on pages 57-60ish about this issue. He describes quite well what that is and that it is NOT the same as your normal "usergroups" you can create.

Right, but that script that fixes that problem (which again I repeat has nothing to do with this mod) only fixes the problem to the extent it exists...it checks to see who doesn't have a single user group and then it creates one for each person who doesn't. So if you run it on a board where everything is already fine, it doesn't do anything.

This isn't related to this mod. This mod only takes you to the normal manage user screen. Please ask this question on a new thread under the help forum.
