I did, thank you! All's well!

Thanks to everyone for their assistance - I have now removed the over 900 spam registrations that my board had accumulated. <Ugh!>

Do you have anything installed yet to stop the spambots from registering?
The RAC Mod works great for that, if you need something:

Any chance at seeing this updated for 3.0? Absolutely love this feature.

It isnt needed. The ACP pages in phpBB3 already have a nice user-search page.

Right...so you can search and do things to a single profile; but this mod allows you to mass-activate/install/ban/whatever multiple accounts - which is a feature NOT built into phpBB3.

Yes it is built into phpBB3.
Take banning for instance. Go to the Ban Username screen,
Click the "Find a member" link.
Checkmark any number of users for the list and click "Select Marked".

For inactive users, that is already a list that you can checkmark multiple users and activate or delete them all at once.

Is there likely to be any more updates for this brilliant MOD? One suggestion I had was the ability to select (by ticking boxes) and email members instead of having to create a user group each time. This extra option could be placed in the drop-down list - "Email selected". ;)
If you don't ask.....

I have one question...while reading the install_userlist_206c.txt and the post on this topic i got the feeling that this MOD is just for the subSilver theme!? well, my forum uses the noseBleed theme, how can I install the MOD there?

10x in adv.
Ivo

p.s. I am running phpBB 2.0.22

Just apply the edits the mod has you do for subsilver to the template you want to use.

my apologies if I ask something that's been asked before in this thread (unfortunately the "search this topic" function does not focus specifically on results from this 1 thread):

I installed the mod (2.0.6c) fine; looks good and I've already been able to delete all 6k spam accounts...

...but it seems like the mod control panel is missing features:
- as far as actions, the bottom drop down menu only shows "delete". There are other spaces before and after it, but they are all blank.
- I do have "sort by" functions from the top dropdown, but I don't see anything related to permissions/groups
- There is also a 2nd drop down at the top, next to the one that controls the sorts - but that 2nd one is totally empty and very narrow.
- the main display screen (by account) has 7 data columns - but some are missing titles.

I don't see functions for mass account "control" (i.e. activate accts) other than mass bans - am I missing something?

* Separately, are there ways of customizing this mod to control very specific things, like users' ability to view each others conact details, or data fields during registration?

Fort,

You didn't install the changes to the language file... go re-read the install txt file and make the changes to the language/lang_english/lang_admin.php file as you are supposed to. ;) I would guess you also missed the other edits in there too.

As for customization... anything is possible if you know how to re-code the mod to do what you want, but there is no built-in custom option area.
