I have one question...while reading the install_userlist_206c.txt and the post on this topic i got the feeling that this MOD is just for the subSilver theme!? well, my forum uses the noseBleed theme, how can I install the MOD there?

p.s. I am running phpBB 2.0.22

Just apply the edits the mod has you do for subsilver to the template you want to use.

my apologies if I ask something that's been asked before in this thread (unfortunately the "search this topic" function does not focus specifically on results from this 1 thread):

I installed the mod (2.0.6c) fine; looks good and I've already been able to delete all 6k spam accounts...

...but it seems like the mod control panel is missing features:
- as far as actions, the bottom drop down menu only shows "delete". There are other spaces before and after it, but they are all blank.
- I do have "sort by" functions from the top dropdown, but I don't see anything related to permissions/groups
- There is also a 2nd drop down at the top, next to the one that controls the sorts - but that 2nd one is totally empty and very narrow.
- the main display screen (by account) has 7 data columns - but some are missing titles.

I don't see functions for mass account "control" (i.e. activate accts) other than mass bans - am I missing something?

* Separately, are there ways of customizing this mod to control very specific things, like users' ability to view each others conact details, or data fields during registration?

Fort,

You didn't install the changes to the language file... go re-read the install txt file and make the changes to the language/lang_english/lang_admin.php file as you are supposed to. ;) I would guess you also missed the other edits in there too.

As for customization... anything is possible if you know how to re-code the mod to do what you want, but there is no built-in custom option area.

Ahh, thanks! Odd thing is that I did do that step, but it seems I re-uploaded the unedited files(!) Now the panel looks complete

Glad to hear it.

Random thing I just noticed.... the approval poll for this mod adds up to 101%.... :?

But on a plus note, 97% are "good" or above.... and 90% are "very good" or above!

Great MOD, this is essential functionality that should be in the main version of phpBB. Without it, dealing with spammers is a nightmare.

I have translated lang_admin.php into Spanish. How do I contribute this to the community? In the meantime, if you want to use the translation, in the lang_spanish\lang_admin.php add the lines below, following the MOD installation instructions:

//
// Admin Userlist Start
//
$lang['Userlist'] = 'Listado de usuarios';
$lang['Userlist_description'] = 'Visualizar un listado completo de usuarios y ejecutar acciones a ellos';

$lang['Add_group'] = 'Añadir a grupo';
$lang['Add_group_explain'] = 'Seleccionar el grupo al que añadir los usuarios';

$lang['Open_close'] = 'Abrir/Cerrar';
$lang['Active'] = 'Activo';
$lang['Group'] = 'Grupo(s)';
$lang['Rank'] = 'Rango';
$lang['Last_activity'] = 'Última actividad';
$lang['Never'] = 'Jamás';
$lang['User_manage'] = 'Gestionar';
$lang['Find_all_posts'] = 'Localizar todos los puestos';

$lang['Select_one'] = 'Seleccionar uno';
$lang['Ban'] = 'Proscribir';
$lang['Is_Banned'] = '¡Proscrito!';
$lang['UnBan'] = 'Des-proscribir';
$lang['Activate_deactivate'] = 'Activar/Des-activar';
$lang['Select_All'] = 'Seleccionar Todos';
$lang['Deselect_All'] = 'Des-seleccionar Todos';

$lang['User_id'] = 'Id de Usuario';
$lang['User_level'] = 'Nivel de Usuario';
$lang['Ascending'] = 'Ascendente';
$lang['Descending'] = 'Descendente';
$lang['Show'] = 'Visualizar';
$lang['All'] = 'Todos';

$lang['Member'] = 'Miembro';
$lang['Pending'] = 'Pendiente';

$lang['Confirm_user_ban'] = '¿Estás seguro que quieres proscribir el(los) usuario(s) seleccionado(s)?';
$lang['Confirm_user_un_ban'] = '¿Estás seguro que quieres des-proscribir el(los) usuario(s) seleccionado(s)?';
$lang['Confirm_user_deleted'] = '¿Estás seguro que quieres borrar el(los) usuario(s) seleccionado(s)?';

$lang['User_status_updated'] = '¡Estatus de Usuario actualizado con éxito!';
$lang['User_banned_successfully'] = '¡Usuario proscrito con éxito!';
$lang['User_un_banned_successfully'] = '¡Usuario des-proscrito con éxito!';
$lang['User_deleted_successfully'] = '¡Usuario borrado con éxito!';
$lang['User_add_group_successfully'] = '¡Usuario añadido al grupo con éxito!';

$lang['Click_return_userlist'] = 'Pulsa %saquí%s para volver al Listado de Usuarios';
//
// Admin Userlist End
//

Hi Milkboy,
I am using your great userlist at my phpBB 2.0.22 board.
It was the greatest help to work with usres, aproving theris account, banned, deleted, collected them, and see how are the new one etc. So it was rely great!!!!

Noöw I would likt to go to the phpBB 3.0.4 version. I already converted my phpBB 2.0.22 version to phpBB 3.0.4 but I think I heve to make all the changes again to get again your great user list at the now version too.
Do you know what i have to do?
I can't fallow your original instructions to do this modification, because, phpBB 3.0.4 has completly different files in its folders and directories.
So can get some help to me?
Please answere me!

Thanks,
Adrina

phpBB2 mods do not work on phpBB3.

In this case, it is unneccessary anyway, because the phpBB3 "Find a Member" link already brings up such a list.

Yes, what BRF said. At this time there is no Admin Userlist mod for 3.0... nor are there plans to make one. If anyone wants to take up the reigns and convert the code over to work with 3.0, they are more than welcome to do so. All I ask is that you contact me via PM here to let me know so I can be in the loop and can deem one person the "point man" on it.

I don't have the time to pursue this anymore personally. :-(

Bad News, Milkboy, this is the reason why I will still at phpBB2.
Your user list is important and excellent thing!
I can't admin my board without this.
Probably you can change your mind.
And you can conver this odification to hpBB3.
I am sure so many usrs will be very happy about it.
Thanks,
Adrina
