Well, right off the bat I see in two places that shouldn't be there. Is it in your code too? That should cause some real problems. I compared your posting.php and didn't see anything wrong by looking side by side. I an not able to check your posting.tpl until 2 hrs from now. Then I will try a diff on the two sections.

Thanks for the help

the in there because I try to put color to separate the changes I make in the files. However, its not working, so I took them out, but missing that two spot. I have edited my post.

Again, thank you for looking into the problem.

Jas

I don't have a 'posting.tpl' file. I have 'posting_body.tpl' and mine is different than yours but only cosmetics. Functionally it seems to be the same as mine.

I looked at your site and the 'view source' of the reply page. It looks like the <!-- BEGIN reply_mode --> and <!-- END reply_mode --> are not being activated. If they were you would get the <a href of the topic to display. Back in posting.php is $mode actually set to 'reply' by the time it gets to the if ( $mode == 'reply' || ... line? If it gets cleared or set to something else during your post reply to page, you won't see the topic name.

Works awesomely, thanks! Just a request though, if you've got time at some point - any chance this could be extended to the Split Topic screen as well?

A new version of this MOD (1.0.6) has been submitted to the MOD Database, so it should be revived shortly. Incidentally, there have been no changes made to the lines modified by this MOD since 2.0.10 was released (really, 2.0.6), so the MOD in it current form continues to work. However, in the new version of the MOD, I have renamed it to "View Topic Title While Posting MOD" to be slightly more in line with what the MOD actually does. Other than the update to the MOD Template and an addition of line number helpers, the MOD is essentially the same. There will be no need to update to 1.0.6 if you already have 1.0.5 installed.

The demo pics no longer on the first page. Could you kindly post up some demo pics, please?

This topic has a textual representation of what the screenshots used to have: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 54#p689054.

I don't think I have the screenshots anymore, but it's a rather basic concept, so it should be easy to grasp how it looks. Plus, it doesn't hurt to install, so you may as well give it a try.
