Getting this :

Code: Select all

SQL not performed: SQL commands are not performed automatically in this version of EM. The MOD you are installing wants to perform an SQL command. You will have to manually execute this the old fashion way. If you do not know how, ask the MOD author, not Nuttzy!
I have added this to SQL :

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics ADD topic_calendar_time INT(11);
ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics ADD topic_calendar_duration INT(11);
ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics ADD INDEX (topic_calendar_time);

ALTER TABLE phpbb_auth_access ADD auth_cal TINYINT(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;
ALTER TABLE phpbb_forums ADD auth_cal TINYINT(2) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;
UPDATE phpbb_auth_access SET auth_cal = auth_sticky;
UPDATE phpbb_forums SET auth_cal = auth_sticky;

When adding again this getting this :

Code: Select all

Database music_xmb1 running on localhost
Error

SQL-query :

ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics ADD topic_calendar_time INT( 11 )

MySQL said:

#1060 - Duplicate column name 'topic_calendar_time'
Whats wrong ? Any help would be appreciatet .
Thank you .

EDIT: Also getting this error :

Code: Select all

Error Detail

Warning

FIND FAILED: In file [templates/Jenova/overall_header.tpl] could not find:

<td align="center" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap"><span class="mainmenu">&nbsp;<a href="{U_FAQ}"

MOD script line #1239 :: FAQ :: Report

I am trying to install this with easy mod newest version .
Phpbb version 2.0.8
Thanks again who helps .

Does anuone know if there is a way to make the popup box appear always in the upper right corner of the page? That way you would always see the full box.

Also, is there a way to prevent the pictures to be loaded. Now the page size of my calendar is about 1MB because all the pictures are loaded.

Hi all, I currently have two problems with this mod. I'm new to phpbb and especially to PHP, so be gentle ;)

1) I need to make the mod so that ONLY the admin user can have access to the calendar parts. I'm pretty sure I need to change posting.php and put an IF around the display of the calendar options, but I don't know quite where.

2) The demo site has a great little link in the top roght - ish of the page to display the calendar. My site doesn't have that, but I only have vanilla phpbb and the Topic Calendar Mod - do I need another Mod to make that part work ?

for v8central:

1. go to Administration Panel->Forum Admin->for each forum you can set the permission to use Calendar

2. be more specific which demo you looked at ...

walterS:
you seemed to have fixed your problem :wink:

I've got an odd problem.

I have phpBB 2.0.4 and i just installed Topic calendar 2.0.6 Everything appeared to be working. I can post events in topics and they show up on the Calendar, but no one can reply to ANY post anymore. when they try the page just show up blank. New topics work, but reply's do not.

The first thing I did was put back the backup files of posting.php and posting_body.tpl, but I get the same results. a blank page when trying to reply.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

i really like this mod
but theres one problem
i'd like to have the users to only put items to the calendar from one forum, is this possible to make

say it looks like this:

Calendar
-> Calendar
Something
-> Off topic
-> World Caboom

you get the point?
now i want that the users should only be able to put items into the calender and not in the other ones, so how to do this?

and i know theres crappy english here

:arrow: Netfeed: You have to set the permissions for Calendar for the forums. If you don't want everyone posting a calendar item from somewhere, then change that forums permissions to something like Admin. Then only the admin will see the calendar option.

Permissions are set just like you do for poll, vote, read, etc...

Question

Post by bfd21 » Thu May 13, 2004 1:02 pm

First post here, I am new to this.

I installed topic calendar with easymod, well I accidently put the sql data in the wrong database. i fixed that problem but now I can't install part1 of the calendar mod again.

I guess my question is how can I remove all the calendar files and start over?

Ptirhiik

I have slightly modifed this calendar mod so you can give the posts in the calendar colors depending on which category they are posted in - makes it slightly easier on the eye. I don't know if you would want add this to your but here is what I did.

I added this to functions_calendar.php:

Code: Select all

$cat_id= $row['cat_id'];
- around line 395.

I added this to the query that starts around line 344.

Code: Select all

f.cat_id
I slightly altered this line:

Code: Select all

$new_row['event_txt_class']= 'forum'.$cat_id;
This sets a the style to be class="forum1" or forum2 depending on which category it is in.

Anyway hope you find this useful - you might be able to integrate idea a bit more. If you have any questions let me know.
