Where can I find examples of this MOD, I'm having troubles understanding exactly what it does?

I don't know when or how it happened but after using javascript (hide BBcode) my icons become not animated!

:D Thanks for this -=ET=-

Installed and working perfect on 2.0.17
Sorted the insert smilie position issue that so many of our members had moaned about . 8)

As usual IE is the let down. The extra smilies window does not stay on top once you select a smilie,,,,,, it does for Firefox, Opera, Maxthon and Netscape.

If I have time I'll try to have a look at this BBCode to find if there is an incompatibility...

I attempted to install this mod via easymod and I got this error message

Warning

FIND FAILED: In file [templates/ptifo/posting_body.tpl] could not find:

// Shows the help messages in the helpline window

MOD script line #398 :: FAQ :: Report

I got that same message saying subSilver instead of ptifo, so I uninstalled & deleted the subSilver theme, but looks like that didn't do anything cause it shows up with ptifo theme.

The only mods I have so are are

CH
extreme styles

Is this error just saying I need to create that statement on line 398?

thank you

so by the looks of it CH (sub-forums) is why easy mod can't see that code because instead of 487 lines of code from a fresh install, CH takes it down to 288 lines of code. Is there a way to install this mode with CH?

I don't want the URL Prompt. How can I get rid of it?

hello ET,

I hope you are still following this topic.

I have just seen this topic and your obvious javascript knowledge gives me hope !

Can you please tell me / us how to change code to use this mod with either:

Old BBCode Box (may have been changed for 'phpbb to nuke')

or

New BBCode Box (I think designed for 'standard' phpBB; I have tested it and it has cross browser accurate insertion issues)

whichever is easiest for you.
I am using a 'standard' phpBB 2.0.18

It would be wonderful to get accurate insertion working with that, in at least IE and Firefox.

Many thanks for any time and help,
Lee

IMHO, you would have to ask this question to the other MOD author.
EasyMOD Standards | MOD Template Actions | MODs in Development Rules
Useful information for MOD Authors | MOD Queue Stats | Search MODs
Write SQL/DDL portable to all SQL servers supported by phpBB!
Get EasyMOD 0.3.0! | Suport al phpBB en Català!

Yes, I already have contacted them for improvement help;
The author of the 'old' box says he doesn't have time to help, and the other author isn't confident with javascript issues.

I've been hoping and trying to get some form of bbcode box working in a properly optimised way for some time now. The way things are looking, I may have to drop it completely and just apply ET's mod here to a 'clean' phpbb.

thanks,
lee
