It is still in the queue.
Currently it isnt possible to see the difference between in the queue, and denied. This will change soon :)

Re: MOD Validation Status

Another question I am afraid.

Now that my MOD has been validated I am going to submit a updated version of it. But the thing is I want to submit it in a 1.0.1 and 1.0.1a version at the same time. (the 1.0.1a version has some of the code removed to cope with people who have already MODded the profile fields. As far as I can tell my MOD always conflicts with these.)

Is this permitted? If a MOD DB mod want to see the code to understand what I am on about, please let me know and I will give you a link

Usually, if you have a problem like that, you put something in the /contrib folder to cover the alternate installations.

So I put my MOD file together with the readme in the zip file, then have a contrib folder in there as well? And I put the other version of the MOD, or the changes to the MOD in there?

Sorry for the Q's but I am still findong my way about with the MOD packing requirements.

It is more or less up to you exactly what is in the /contrib folder. For instance, you could have alternate install instructions for non-standard setups.

Exactly what Brf said. The only thing that should be in the main directory of your zip is the installation file, the XSL file (if you're using MODX), and optionally a license.txt file. Any files to be copied during installation go in a root/ directory, EVERYTHING else (excluding translations) goes into the contrib/ directory, which you can organize any way you like.

Can someone please check if my Mod is still in the queue?

Auto-Refresh Forum 1.1.2

Version 1.1.1 was denied about 3 weeks ago because of a couple of minor things and those are the only things that have been changed/fixed in this new version. I would've thought that changing minor things that caused the previous version to be denied would mean it wouldn't take long to validate this one...?

I appreciate that there are a lot of mods, but I've had a few emails asking about the Mod so I thought I would try to get a little update on it. :)

Thanks!

They will all install with EasyMOD as that is what we use when we validate.

EasyMOD compliant is an imaginary standard that never happened.

Just so Wicher's post doesn't scare you, the average turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, but it depends how busy the MOD team is and how many MODs are in the queue at a given time. MODs that have been in there longer are given priority, and the MOD team rarely takes more than 6 weeks maximum for turnaround time, based on my past experiences.
