Ok... I understand the whole versioning thing... I was just curious if the filename itself had to have the version number in it... like MYMODv1.3.6.MOD

thats because two files of the same name can't exist at the same time ;)

you don't have to really, it's just wise to do so

Oh--the NAME of the .zip/.mod/.txt file can be anything you want--no one will care. :-P

The private message will be sent to you in the phpBB Community (meaning here at phpbb.com). If you don't have it set in your profile to notify you on arrival of a new private message, you may want to do so, so that you will be notified on acceptance/rejection of your MOD right away.

Also if you sent it in yesterday, expect to wait. My first MOD came back in one week (because it was small), but the larger your MOD, the more you'll have to wait, unless it's insta-denied. ;-)

And, once again, to everybody, if you are unable to do ALL of Nuttzy's list, simply try running it through the MOD Validator tool (click on the MODs button on the upper-right), and then install your MOD on a virgin board (meaning one with NO MODS PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED) with EasyMOD. If you can do these things, you will know almost for sure you won't be insta-denied.

You may read MOD Version Numbering System:
http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=43

You can't upload a file that IS the same nam as your previously uploded file. You simply can't overwrite what's already present in the server.

Rename your file to something liek my_mod_110.mod or my_mod_110a.mod. Just make the file name different than what it was the last time you submitted it.

Can I ask if there is an update to my "Topics a User has Started" MOD after being submitted for validation?

I can't remember if I submitted the latest version or not.
