it doesnt require you to make any database changes from what i could see, do you mean stop it from updating when actually editing the post count? :?

im not sure i understand you :?

i know that most mods, when they add or change something a user profile, there are using sql changes/updates so that changes say...I had this one mod, that worked great, but there was no way to keep the chanegs in the admin panel because that mod had no sql into the database

It does update the database! It just uses the SQL UPDATE command that is already in place (for updating the users data) to update the postcount to whatever is set. It adds a box to the A.C.P. which has the current users postcount in it, and you can edit it to change the postcount...

Minor Unimportant issue:

Code: Select all

// MOD: Remote Avatar Resize - by tomlevens (tom@tomlevens.co.uk)
Probably want to change that to:

Code: Select all

		// MOD: Edit User's Postcount  - by tomlevens (tom@tomlevens.co.uk)
It appears four times.

Great mod, by the way. Works like a charm.

Yeah I've already noticed that! The updated version has been submitted for validation... but its only a cosmetic change really ;)

Hi,

it isn't working at my board.
I have phpbb 2.0.8

Everything looks fine and i see the count posts at my admin but when i edit them and push submit i get an error page.

What could be wrong ?

My board only active uses one template, so do i really need to add it to every other template ?

Hi... what error is it you get? If you could post the it here then it would help... if it is a SQL error then try reinstalling the mod.

And you only need to install it on the templates that you actually use... ;)

i tried this MOD and no error came up and I see it in the panel and all but when I change the post number it does not change....

I saw that when I edit the post and press submit, and then go back, its still the same count as before and not th new count I changed it to.
I am obsessed by installing new forums (we all have our faults)... need help, let me know. :)
