MOD Validated/Released

Notes:
This MOD makes it so that you can see the last time a user visited your site from the memberlist page.

Yes! I've always wanted this MOD, but have always had to download it from phpbbhacks.com or other site. Now it's been approved, and I can use it and be reassured that it will work! Yay!

Can show the last visited date under the joined date into viewtopic page?

FIND FAILED: In file [templates/subSilver/memberlist_body.tpl] could not find:

<td class="catBottom" colspan="8" height="28">&nbsp;</td>

Because I have this:
<td class="catBottom" colspan="{NUM_COLUMNS}" height="28">&nbsp;</td>

Not sure which mod made the change, does anyone know where {NUM_COLUMNS} is set?

edit: It's the Cash Mod that made the change.

NOTE! IF you are using phpbb 2.0.18 or later, you need the changes noted here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p1858395 or you will receive a 'find failed' message when using EasyMod. Save yourself some time and get this newer version of the mod. The one in the mod database will fail unless you're using a version of phpbb earlier than 2.0.18

NOTE: My support for this mod has ended as of January 4th 2007! If someone else would like to take over this mod, feel free to let me know. At this point, all that has to be done is to re-package and re-submit the mod (as documented in this thread) to the mod-database.

Since the Cash mod made the change, you should look at that mod for the value of NUM_COLUMNS.

You may need to increment the value of NUM_COLUMNS as LastVisit will add one column to the memberlist display. I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try NUM_COLUMNS+1 if you can't find NUM_COLUMNS. ;)

This should be easy to do. I'll look into it when I get a moment.

Ok, I have this done! I just need to wrap it up into the .MOD file then I'll resubmit the mod with the new version as I think this is a good suggestion. It makes me wonder why I missed it in the original mod.

EDIT: I updated this mod and resubmitted 1.0.6 to incorporate this request. I'm sorry I missed this in the first release. Great suggestion! 1.0.5 was submitted, but I has a bug in it which I caught. Hopefully the modteam will not be annoyed by this and won't find any more bugs in my last_visited_1.0.6.mod submission.

EDIT: There was a mod file format bug in my 1.0.6 so a new last_visited_1.0.7.mod file was submitted.

Thanks! :D

Since the usergroups didn't have a date in it already, I hadn't considered displaying lastvisit there.

You can always click on ther users name in the usergroup and it will display their last visit in their profile. ;)

When I download these MOD's I get the files as Winamp files. How can that be?

Somehow files with type of .MOD must be assigned to your WinAMP program.

If you do the mod manually, you can simply rename it to .TXT if you prefer. The mod file is simply a text file anyway.

I don't use winamp so I don't know if it truely needs to know about the .MOD file.

So what exactly should be done to add this MOD to my forum?
