The most recent MODs to be validated are from December/January and I submitted this one on 24th January - it's still in the queue and it should be validate soon. :)

Hopefully this won't happen again in the future since the Insta-Deny is no in place...

EDIT: Apologies, I was trying to post up a link to the new version on my own webspace, but I guess it's not a good idea to post up a link to a MOD that's not been validated. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long now until the MOD Database is back up, and the new version is validated. :)

Just a quick update - version 1.1.1 was denied today, but I have fixed the (minor) issues and I have now submitted version 1.1.2 which should most likely pass the validation.

I'm not sure how difficult it would be to include it in viewtopic.

You can set it by minutes if you want - just multiply the number of minutes by 60 (seconds).

For example, if you want it to refresh every 5 minutes, then you would enter 300 because that's 5x60. :)

Guess what - 1.1.2 was denied.

My fault again - but I have fully tested it now, and I'm absolutely certain that it will be approved this time.

Sorry for the delay - hopefully you should all have it in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately I don't have any plans to port this to phpBB3 - I'm one of the people who is staying committed to phpBB2 until its dying day. :P

I will be experimenting with phpBB3 over the summer, so I might port it over then (or before that if I'm bored!) - I'll keep you updated, but until then someone can port it over themselves if they wish - I only ask that you post here letting me know that you're doing so. :)

Is there any demo board with this mod?

I just wanted to see if there is that IE tick sound when it refreshed every 30/60 secs. Might be bad for users reading a thread in a topic when it ticks every 30/60 sec

http://www.xboxelite.co.uk/refresh/

I've not tried it myself, but I imagine there would be the ticking sound... only if the user has it enabled, of course.

I don't think there's anything I can do about that, I'm afraid.

is there anyway i can get this in a non .mod version? (ie instructions - replace this add that).. I prefer doing the steps manually since I am working on a board thats already had done things done to it in the past by the previous webmaster.. Im going to try on it on my test forum and see what happens though :D lets hope it works!
