I've got a problem as well - I finally managed to install the mod, but my forum just started to work really slow, I couldn't open ANY page at all... My browser would just timeout after 20 seconds...

I know for sure that this mod caused it because when I removed it everything started functioning properly... Did this happen to anyone else?

This mod works really well and it's great :)

But if I would like to leave the tooltips function only & don't let our members and mods
to use topic description's main function ( just preview first post and last post only)
how to install the minimum tooltips code?

I know that I can turn the most functions off via ACP ,but it seems many
useless codes and sql columns in my phpbb system.

I installed it with easymod, and it said everything was successful, however when I view my forums there is a postparse tooltip link under eash thread topic and when I click it nothing happens except a little message in my browser "error on page"
Any clues? I'd love to be able to get this to work.

You havn't posted again since then, so i'l assume you found it.

if not, look in the descriptions settings, turn off post parsing unless your server/site supports ajax.

I have another dilemma..i can't find where to edit the font in the tooltip message.
I have edited the background and topic color using preview_tooltip_params.cfg but no clue where to look to edit the message font.

I would like to get a working-link for this MOD, since the link on the 1st page on this topic doesn't work (404 error)

it is not possible to enable(yes) the paring points

Allow BBCode parsing within descriptions
Allow smiley parsing withing descriptions
Enable description postparsing (move BBCode parsing of descriptions to ajax to lighten load)

is there an depency to an checkbox ahead ?

html parsing is enabled and i can change this setting.

i don´t get errors !

Hi,

Just installed this MOD and I really like it, thanks for creating it.
I'm using Moby Threads and while in threaded view I don't get to see the tooltips, however, the tooltips are shown in the flat view.
Is there a way to make the MOD work in the threaded view as well?

TIA

Hi all,

I would like to try this MOD and install it in my forum.

First question: Is this compatible with BBLite Template?
Are there any other issues I need to resolve before installing it?

Second question: What are files needed to be back-up with this MOD?
Easy MOD says.. However, this is beta quality software and you are urged to make your own backups

Code: Select all

Step 1 of 3
Processing completed successfully!

EasyMOD has completed processing of this MOD. Your original phpBB files remain unaltered. The next step will update your DB and replace your phpBB files with the newly altered ones. Your original phpBB files will automatically be backed up. However, this is beta quality software and you are urged to make your own backups!! Press the "Next Step" button to continue.
Third question: Is this compatible with Simple Subforums MOD?
I had a hell with that MOD but still needed in my forum.

Hope I can install this MOD with out any hang-ups..

Thank you very much and God bless.
