I tried this. Thought it might be a shot in the dark. Still getting the ""Could not insert new word matches" error.

Rebuild Search

Post by pberry » Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:11 pm

I've set the MOD up exactly as given (I'm running phpBB 2.0.20) and it does nothing when the Rebuild Search button is clicked from within phpBB Administration.

I'm using the following default values:
1000
Time Limit: 120
Refresh Rate: 3

There is the following, empty, table in my db: phpbb_search_rebuild

What am I doing wrong?

I can't figure it out!

Aaaaah!

Same problem

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a french translation ? I've got 3 phpBB2 forums, 2 of them being in French. If there's no such translation I'll devise one and post it.

The link to download this mod doesn't work, might have been since the phpBB site was upgraded. Try this link instead

When trying to run this mod i get this error:

Could not delete search table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 145 Table './evilsmurfs-bb/phpbb_search_wordlist' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

DELETE FROM phpbb_search_wordlist

Line : 327
File : functions_admin_rebuild_search.php

I tried running the fixtables script numerous times, but no luck.

Please Help!

I was getting the error because I did not complete the install process. I simply copied all the files. You need to walk through the steps at the bottom of the instructions.

That definitely could be the problem. In phpMyAdmin, I just selected the database in the drop down box on the left, then just copy and paste the text in the MySQL field.
