Thank you this works perfectly.

One small thing. I don't want the subforums at the top of the page of the main forum. What would I need to do to get it at the bottom?

Ok I got the modcp too. And one of my mods were going in there to check things out and she got this....

Code: Select all

Couldn not obtain forums information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1109 Unknown table 'f' in field list

SELECT forum_id, forum_name, f.forum_parent FROM phpbb2_forums ORDER BY cat_id, forum_order

Line : 38
File : functions_admin.php
What do I need to change? It seems to work fine for me.

Yeah, I used easymod. But it works for me and I have moved a few of the forums around. Maybe it is a ModCP issue?

I would go check

Line : 38
File : functions_admin.php

see what edits might correspond to the install file.

Im try istall manual, but is big :S

Im think the problem is on index.php or index_body.php, but i dont know

Anyone can help me?
Tanks :)

I have the same problem, anyone have a fix.

Im running 2.19 with newest version sub-forums 1.01

Here is an example. Everything works great im just getting duplicate categories on my forums index.

http://fpscops.com/forums.php

[edit]

Fixed! Missed a small bit of code.

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
templates/subSilver/index_body.tpl

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
  <!-- BEGIN forumrow -->

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
  <!-- IF ! forumrow.PARENT -->
[/edit]

I've got the same problem, and i checked your bug fixing, but it seemed to be correct with my forum.
<!-- IF ! forumrow.PARENT --> was there where it was supposed to be
Could there be an other solution ?

This has probably already been discussed, but Ive been having this problem with this step (the first one).

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ SQL ]------------------------------------------
#
ALTER TABLE phpbb_forums ADD forum_parent INT NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';
I have never altered SQL tables before, but have done plenty of MODs. I just wanted to know what the easiest way to do this would be.

You simply copy and paste it into your mysql database and run the query. How does that not help you with your problem?

I'm trying to install this mod for subblack, and it does not contain the " <!-- BEGIN forumrow -->" language anywhere. In fact, it's index_body.tpl looks pretty different from subsilver. Umm what do I do?

Thanks in advance
