Thanks, I've been waiting for this. I wasn't completely sure about the release in the announcement.

EDIT: Installed with EM and works great!

After downloading, the .zip is saying it's corrupt. Anybody have an alternate link?

The file is correct, checked with Firefox and IE, maybe there was a temporary error somewhere in the connection...

One lame question :wink:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
$refresh = $preview ||

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]---------------------------------------------
#
$orig_word = $replacement_word = array();
Like this:

Code: Select all

$refresh = $preview || $poll_add || $poll_edit || $poll_delete;
$orig_word = $replacement_word = array();
or like this...

Code: Select all

$refresh = $preview || $orig_word = $replacement_word = array(); $poll_add || $poll_edit || $poll_delete;
:?:

If in doubt, take a look at the HTML folder and open the index file in there. The menu on the left has a "help" menu with some links that may come handy. ;)

Awesome! Sorry, newbie questions here. I'm running 2.0.17 now. Is this a problem: after I load the files to admin/mods it's saying it's not EMC (EasyMOD Compatible) in the EasyMOD - Automatic MOD Installer area of the ACP.

Also, the phpbb_2.0.17_to_2.0.18.txt file says

Code: Select all

## Since this MOD is somehow complex, it is recommended to proceed as follows:
##
## 1) Disable the board from the ACP (General Admin, Configuration).
##
## 2) Make backups of your files and Database.
##
## 3) Upload and execute the file install/update_to_latest.php.
##  (more instructions snipped here)
then says

Code: Select all

## It is recommended to use EasyMOD to install this MOD ;-)
So...which is it - use EM or update_to_latest.php?

Thanks!

Since the EasyMOD standards have not been finished there are basically no EMC MODs. So you could ignore that.

EasyMOD should be able to install this MOD with not problems, but remember to make backups of all your board files (just to be safe). There might be conflicts still, depending on how MOD'd your board is.

Aside, you should still run the update_to_lastet.php script to update the DB, so do a backup of that as well, just to be safe.

use EM to MOD your files (else manually) and update_to_latest to update your Database..
