I entered October 26 but it shows 25 in my profile?
You can find the forum here.

This would be a cool mod, but the wrong date is showing up for me too (I entered June 28, and June 27 shows up). Please let me know how to fix this...

Thanks,
James

Did you try this fix?:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
includes/usercp_viewprofile.php
#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
   $birthday = create_date($birthday_format, mktime(0,0,0,$bday_month,$bday_day), $board_config['board_timezone']);
#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]------------------------------------
#
   $birthday = create_date($birthday_format, gmmktime(0,0,0,$bday_month,$bday_day), 0);

Hope you don't mind me asking a silly question...

Is it compatible with 2.0.17? :P

Should be - I haven't tried it, though. I guess I can try to set up a phpBB 2.0.17 sometime later today, maybe.

I am attempting to install this mod using easymod.

easymod is asking to change the sql database:

ALTER TABLE phpbb_users ADD user_birthday INTEGER(8) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0;

Is this correct?

Like I told babydoll2u - it is displayed at the bottom of the forum. If the current date, according to the forum, is Mar 7, and your birthday is Mar 7, a birthday thing will appear at the bottom.

If it is no ones birthday, no birthday thing will appear.

As for the making it display in threads - I can try to implement that in 1.0.2.

That's weird because I don't have anything showing at the bottom of my forum? (After I installed it, I thought this mod was for only adding the birthday in the profile.)

Perhaps this makes things clearer?:

Basically, the Today's Birthdays thing doesn't always show itself. Rather, it only shows itself when someone has a birthday today. You can try this out, yourself. Set your birthday to the current date and see what happens.

Yes it worked!

Is there a way to change how it shows the info though? It looks like Top Posting Members and Birthdays kind of run together.

To fix that, it'd help if you could (1) provide a link to the Top Posting Members MOD and (2) provide a link to your own board (just in case your board and the Top Posting Members MOD have slightly different HTML).
