Just a quick update - I've almost finished a new version of the MOD (yes, again) which uses the compression methods developed for phpBB 3. This new compression method should prevent the "Allowed memoery size of ... exhausted" errors and allows you to export the backup in zip, tar, tgz, tar.gz and tar.bz2, whichever you prefer.

I'll be submitting the new version to the MOD Team once I get back home :)

I appreciate that due to the server move things might be slightly behind schedule, but what is the latest on the update?

Oh, okay... We'll need to wait then :p. Is there no quick fix for the non-standard tables at least?

Can't you use your Mod powers to jump the queue?

(Just joking off course  )

Really great mod :D

I've had great problems with getting un-interupted backups on my forum that got rather many mods installed. My database is 100Mb +

I got the problem mentioned earlier with a limit when Zip:ing the file.

Is that problem solved or can I modify it any way so it just makes an unziped sql file instead to make a teporarily solution?

Thanks for the compliment :)

The problem should be fixed in the version which is currently in the queue :)

Fantastic Mod I can't wait to see this one fully integrated in the new version of phpBB3, hopefully.

Very organized. I think this one should be allocated as the backup mod for sure.

Anyword on restore function yet?

Great mod installed and working great :D

Just wondering will you be adding a option to backup automatically and save backup at specific time that you can set in options, and save path for file ?

Just wondering if the mod available for download is the newest version? I'll be switching hosts soon and need this badly. Thanks a bunch!

I'm currently doing tests on a decend-sized board which have caused some more changes to be made to the MOD, pushing the release date even further :(
