Got this working, and it looks great.

Just one thing. When I have my index page loaded, and I refresh using the reload button or f5, the jumpbox text goes from "Select forum" to " "

If I hit the Index link above my forum and topics, it displays like it is supposed to.

I haven;'t tested in IE yet, but in FireFox, that is the behaviour.

Any ideas?

thanks again.

By default phpBB doesn't have a jumpbox on the index page ;)

Very nice mod. It takes about 16 seconds to install and makes the jumpbox much more readable. Thanks!

Excellent MOD! :) But I see that the jumpbox already works that way on my forum, 2.0.21, Helius ans XS MOD installed. Is this due to the Extreme styles installed?

Grtz,

Nic

Yes, eXtreme styles combined with that style already changes the jumpbox.

Unfortunately , there is no way to format OPTGROUP. Its always bold italic. I think you can apply CSS to it to add a backround color or change the color of the text , but as far as anything I have ever read , its bold italic no matter what :(
