Hello chatasos,
IMO for the future you should create a update.xml .

Bye Martin

Hello,
... or create a update.txt to the contrib folder.

(I don't know how to use the xml files. )

So you mean to create an update file in order to be able to update the mod to the latest version.
If that is the case, i think it's not needed in most of the updates, because all you have to do it is overwrite your old files.
Besides that, i'm too lazy to write another install file

Hello chatasos,
no, I mean you should write the update manual instructions in to an extra file.

IMO they are not well placed at the modx-install.xml .

This should be only a tip o reduce the sum of FAQs in this topic here.

Hello, everybody...

It does not seem to work any more, since the new phpBB.com site has arrived  ...

Something will soon be there to correct this ?

Thanks

Paul, I think what he meant was that since the old MOD Database is gone, this MOD won't be able to connect to it anymore until the new one comes up.

Hmm, offcourse. But the new one has a different structure as the old one, so possible the mod will then not working correctly if its online.
