Hello!! :D

First congratulations very nice and useful mod!! :P

Well I installed this mod in my forum (phpbb2 Plus 1.52 2.0.19) and yes it is working, but only in the modcp_delete_posts pages, because in the viewtopic pages is not working when I choosed the posts(in the check box) in the topic and click in the Delete Posts button that is in the end of the topic nothing happens and I don't now why.

Like I said only I can delete posts when I click in the delete posts image and open the modcp_delete_posts pages so the viewtopic function is not working and I re-checked all the installation and everything is all right and also I uploaded the files for the mod. :?

Here if u want to take a look of my files.

And Also I can't use the Ban users button, the warning's users button, the re-active users button and the report posts button in the viewtopics page because when I clicked in that buttons the modcp_delete_posts page appears. :?

I think the code of the Mod in the modcp.php file is something wrong.

Mass delete of posts in a Forum Category?

Post by GaryW »

A little bit off topic ... but along the same lines ..

Is there a MOD that would allow Admin and/or Moderators to "Mass Delete" posts/topics in a particular forum?

I have a situation whereby a forum is populated with news headlines from an RSS Feed ...but for some reason is getting duplicate posts ... which would be great to delete "on mass" ... :D

Regards,

GaryW

GaryW: This is already a standard feature of phpBB. In Viewforum, simply scroll to the bottom of the page, and find the text "You can Moderate this Forum", or whatever it says. Simply click on that text ;)

I'm sorry, but i'm ill now and have no opportunity to fix this issue. The problem is that Yellow Card Mod inserts its own form into the same template. I'll thy to fix it as soon as possible.

thanks a lot, XPert - this saved me a lot of time when weeding out a bunch of spam comments :) this (or something like it) really should be part of the standard release.

also thanks to eviL<3 for pointing out that sort of hidden feature, for deleting a bunch of posts in one go. i never knew that was there...

This looks like a winner.

Does anyone know if a similar one exists for USERS?

I have over 400 spam users that have registered to post spam, and there really is no good way to delete many users in the standard release.

This really needs to make it in their too. I'll write one if I have to, but right now, I have 400+ users to remove. I may ust do it through SQL directly, but I'd like to also remove any posts by those users.
