Nevermind... :oops:

I eliminated empty spaces between the HTML tags in the template file and it took care of it!

Man I'm getting hammered again with a registration bot :? At least twice a day. The humanizer mod has kept free of this crap since I installed it many months ago. I'm running v1.03. Will upgrading help with this? I see it is up to v1.05.

Hi,

better replace the attribute "ruhuman" with another:

http://www.underhill.de/downloads/phpbb ... ertips.txt

Between V1.0.3 and 1.0.5 where only spelling or formating changes...

Some spam bots guess the option values, so therefore I would like to replace the drop down box with a text field, in which a user should manually enter a custom word that I can define. How do I do that?

Hi Millennyum,

better use this MOD for your request:
http://www.phpbb.de/moddb/mod.php?id=ABQ
(English translation inside the MOD)

Underhill, thank you. I was having the same issue but changed the value as you suggested and that seems to huave done the trick (for the moment).

I am a newby, so editing code is not really my bag but I backed up the files and gave it a shot. When I tested it, the question appeared and I answered it and filled in the rest of the registration info.

But when I hit the submit button to finish the registration it said the page I was looking for could not be found. Any idea where I screwed up?

Hi,

does the error also occur when you use your phpBB without the Humanizer-MOD?

Ohhh... thanks, but that mod is way too complicated. I don't want random questions, I just want something like this: Anti-bot guest post mod. I already installed that one, but I don't know how to add it to the registration page as well... :(

I'm installed with easy install and send this error in my 2.0.20

================================
FIND FAILED: In file [includes/usercp_register.php] could not find:

if ($board_config['enable_confirm'] && $mode == 'register')

Ok - i understand...

It is possible to change the Humanizer to a DropDownList - I will post the Lines here in a few days (less time) - Ok?

This line must be changed by another MOD - Did you tried to find

Code: Select all

if ($board_config['enable_confirm']
instead of?

AND better update your phpBB to 2.0.21 (many reasons!)
