I went into myAdmin and could see that all flag tables appear to be there, including the 'user_from_flag' table in the phpbb_users. Here's what I can see in myAdmin:

In the phpbb_flags I see:
- flag_ID
- flag_name
- flag_image

...and under the phpbb_users, I see:

- user_from_flag

So what's going on? Why am I being told that the 'user_from_flag' column is 'unknown'?

Hmm... that's interesting! I can't answer your question as the field is there as you've described, I don't see why you are receving the column unknown error 8O

So, you are looking at the correct database right? Or is your new forum running on a new database without you realising it?

I've only got one database, so that's not an issue. However, I did just realize something....don't know if it would be a possible source of the problem or not, but...

After I used the script to clean the tables off my database and began to reinstall the Flag MOD, I noticed that the flag tables were already/still there. Apparently even though I'd checked the appropriate boxes in the script to remove the tables, they didn't get removed. (Good thing I checked before installing the Flag MOD.) Anyway, I'm wondering if even though the flag tables are there, if maybe the script did something to them to disable them? Is that even possible?

Would you suggest I just manually remove the tables in phpMyAdmin and attempt to reinsert them?

I don't know whether this is discussed already, but is it possible to show the flags in the usergroups-pages as well? Now they do not show up there...

Best regards and thanks for this great MOD,

hey I installed it now when I click on profile it comes up with this:

Couldn't obtain flags information.

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'xanguild_phpb1.phpbb_flags' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM phpbb_flags ORDER BY flag_name

Line : 943
File : usercp_register.php

Any idea?

Have you executed this step:

Code: Select all

#-----[ DIY INSTRUCTIONS ]------------------------------------------
Method 1: Copy root/install/db_update_en.php to install/db_update_en.php. Execute and delete after it has been run
Method 2: Use EasyMOD to run contrib/install/db_update_en.txt
Method 3: Copy the SQL query from contrib/install/db_update_en.txt and execute it manually
If you have, in your config.php, what is your setting for this variable:

Code: Select all

$table_prefix = 'phpbb_';
Because if you aren't using the default prefix 'phpbb_' and if you are using Method 2 or Method 3, you need to change the table prefix yourself, as mentioned inside the MOD file

Code: Select all

#-----[ SQL ]------------------------------------------
# Remember to change the table prefix used on your database

Are you using the latest phpBB 2.0.21?

If I remember correctly, that file was added in one of the recent phpBB updates. My suggestion for you is to update your board

Yes, I am. I only uploaded the board a few weeks ago. Although I uploaded the zip file again and found it. Thanks. :)

Maybe this can be done with a 'simple' addition to the code, I don't know.
