Yes, they do. Iam busy with implantating a VC into the guestbook, but that costs some time.

surely easier to disallow guests to post in the gbs?
is that already a faeture?

I moved the .mod file to the root folder so I could use easymod and I got this critical error:
Critical Error

FIND FAILED: In file [includes/functions.php] could not find:

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_main.' . $phpEx);

MOD script line #432 :: FAQ :: Report

Works here correctly with easymod. Maybe you aren't using 2.0.22/has already installed a mod that change that line. Try to install it manually.

Hi,

Sorry i'm new to this and quite simply don't have a clue what i'm doing. The zip file didn't contain any instructions....do I just drag and drop everything?

I installed and it looks good. Is there any way to lift the 500 points requirement before someone is able to post in a guestbook and is there anyway to make it compatible with other styles?

Hello! This is a wonderful mod!

Although I do have one issue with it, currently, users (may it be moderator or non-moderator) can edit the posts of anybody who posts in his/her guestbook.

I don't think that should be allowed since the guestbook owner can just tamper with whatever comments he/she receives. Guestbook owners should be allowed only to delete, not edit other people's entries.

Hope this can be fixed :)

Ok! Sorry I posted that. :)

I also found this one error. It happens when you say "No" on the Delete Confirmation when you want to delete a guestbook post.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\www\test\includes\template.php(127) : eval()'d code:1) in C:\www\test\includes\functions.php on line 949

Tried in 2.0.22 with that MOD only installed, so I know it isn't a conflict with another MOD.

I also get the same error with eXtreme styles installed.

I noticed a little problem. If users get cash for signing user guestbooks, they can cheat by signing their own guestbook. They can also delete their entries without losing any points.

This would be better:
1. Users do not gain any points for signing their own guestbooks.
2. If an entry is deleted, the poster will lose the points he gained for adding the entry.

Here is another suggestion:
If you sign your own guestbook, you should not receive any notification email.

That's a great suggestion.. I'd also like to see a "Preview" button in the quick reply and regular guest post
