Copy gb.mod (can be found in the contrib-directory of the .zip) to the 'root' of the mod (for instance: /admin/mods/profileguestbook1.0.7a). In this way EasyMOD can find the mod and will install it for you :).

I tried installing it on mine, and nothin happened. None of the options changed on my profile or on my ACP. But when I changed my template on my profile, it said:

Now that some entries in the guestbooks are made I see that the newest reaction is on top of the guestbook... In the forum the newest answer is at the bottom of the topic. Is there an option or something like that to set the guestbook like that as well (that new entries will come under the earlier reactions)?

I hope to hear from you.

Best regards,

Toho_NL.

Here you go!

Find in includes/functions_guestbook.php

Code: Select all

global $db,$HTTP_GET_VARS;
		$start = (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['start'])) ? intval($HTTP_GET_VARS['start']) : 0;
		$sql = "SELECT * FROM ".PROFILE_GUESTBOOK_TABLE." g, ".USERS_TABLE." u WHERE
				g.user_id = ".$this->uid." AND g.poster_id = u.user_id
				ORDER BY g.gb_time DESC
				LIMIT $start, 10";
Replace with

Code: Select all

global $db,$HTTP_GET_VARS;
		$start = (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['start'])) ? intval($HTTP_GET_VARS['start']) : 0;
		$sql = "SELECT * FROM ".PROFILE_GUESTBOOK_TABLE." g, ".USERS_TABLE." u WHERE
				g.user_id = ".$this->uid." AND g.poster_id = u.user_id
				ORDER BY g.gb_time ASC
				LIMIT $start, 10";
Good luck :wink:

It isn't very simple to do that. Will try to write a mod for it later. At this moment i has not enough time for it.
Toho_NL wrote: Is it possible (perpahs for a next version) to only show it to members? Now guests can see / read the guestbooks, but I would like to see an option (don't know whether this is technically possible) that I can disable the guestbook for guests (so that one should register / log-in).

Do you think this is possible?
