It isn't very simple to do that. Will try to write a mod for it later. At this moment i has not enough time for it.

good question

when I downloaded the zip I found contrib, root, gb.xml and a WEIRD modx.subsilver.en.xsl

is there a READ ME, instructions.txt or even a CLUE?

that xml file is a modx file(The next generation of mod instructions :)), you can open it with your internet browser, and you see the instructions. In the contrib dir your found a "normal" install file.

thanks Paul

gotta say, from what I've read this looks like a BLINDING MOD, no two ways about it

but could I say - a README would be nice in the surface of that top folder

 Paul, found all as you said

Following the rules of modx, I must put it official in the contrib dir, so I do that. The xml file is also the same instruction, that you can use also.
Maybe I putt the txt file also in home dir, will think about it :)

Is there anyway users can get alerted when someone posts a comment in there profile? Sort of like they are when they get a new private message when they log in?

Could not open .//cache/profilemod.php!

@noth, Thanks for the changes for lang. My english is very bad, so not all text is correctly written.

That option for enable display guestbook was a feature request, so I has build it in.
For that weird chars, does they stands in usercp_register.php or profile_add_body.tpl?

User can enable in profile a option that if there are a new gb message, there will be sended a email.

You mean that users can post in a guestbook if they has 10 posts in the forum? You can edit that number in acp, general configuration. The mod add a option for that there.

there is no trace of them in either and yet they have just appeared top left of the profile edit page :x

well apart from that I must say this guest book mod is very good

your english may be a little off Paul but your programming is most definitely full on !! congratulations on such a great achievement :D
