Does this check to see if the person being deleted is an ADMIN or MOD. Might be a good check to add. That way they at least have to set them to USER before they delete them. Most likely just add that as a addon. Some admins are hot headed.

I haven't installed this mod yet but does it have protection from Deleting other admins or even the main admin? I have installed some mods protecting the Profile edit and Ban page but this is a seperate file.

No, you can't delete yourself. If deleting an admin/mod account, it'll ask you the same as deleting any normal member, "Are you sure you want to delete -----?"

It will be a little pointless to make some form of restriction mentioned above because you can still delete admins or moderators from the ACP.

Sure, that's possible. But like that you don't delete somebody "by accident"

The delete will not occur until you make confirmation.

I installed using EasyMod and got this error:
Critical Error

FIND FAILED: In file [includes/usercp_viewprofile.php] could not find:

$search = '<a href="' . $temp_url . '">' . sprintf($lang['Search_user_posts'], $profiledata['username']) . '</a>';

MOD script line #122

any ideas?

Are you using any MODs? It should be there in the file

Code: Select all

$temp_url = append_sid("search.$phpEx?search_author=" . urlencode($profiledata['username']) . "&showresults=posts");
$search_img = '<a href="' . $temp_url . '"><img src="' . $images['icon_search'] . '" alt="' . sprintf($lang['Search_user_posts'], $profiledata['username']) . '" title="' . sprintf($lang['Search_user_posts'], $profiledata['username']) . '" border="0" /></a>';
$search = '<a href="' . $temp_url . '">' . sprintf($lang['Search_user_posts'], $profiledata['username']) . '</a>';

//
// Generate page
//
$page_title = $lang['Viewing_profile'];
include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/page_header.'.$phpEx);
