Or this mod breaks the record, you know what I mean?

Not really, what do you mean by "in record"?

You know what I mean, If I have in record about 100members and you delet one of them, in record you´ll see 99members. But I want something tobe explained if I remove someone the record shouldn´t be broked up. Example I have about 100 members and I remove 10 oof theme I wan´t tobe shown as 100 members In "who is Online".

Awesome mod. Thank you very much. We were getting slammed with spam users just registering to advertise their viagra, pharmacy, ringtones, etc websites.

This made deleting them so much easier. Kudos.

Sounds great, as I've got a ton of bogus users I need to delete. The only thing that would make this better is if you could check a box next to the users you want to delete, and then when you've got them all selected, click on a "delete all" button...

Very thank you for this mod.

I was invaded for a few spamers, and this is perfect for get them exterminated from my forum.

I have seen a lot of tools to delete users, but all of them would require i stop my reading, navigate into the control panel, search for the user and only then... ...delete it.

Now i can send a spammer to the hell as soon as i see one. ;)

Would be nice to have an option to delete all the posts from the user beeing deleted too.

Moderator ability?

Post by alyosha47 » Tue Aug 29, 2006 1:13 pm

Hi, would it be hard to modify this MOD so that moderators, as well as admins, can delete spammers? They already have permission to kill the posts; I'd like them to be able to remove the posters as well.

I have tried changing the ADMIN to MOD in the line

Code: Select all

if ( $userdata['user_level'] == ADMIN && $poster_id != ANONYMOUS )
And the delete user "X" button appears, but then they get an info window saying they still don't have permission.

Thanks for your help, and for a great MOD!

I too love this mod. Finally a semi-easy way to delete all these damn spammers. Much better than what we currently have to use. Thanks!

Fantastic MOD, just what I needed to quickly delete these sub-humans that insist on creating accounts to advertise c.r.a.p.

will this work for phpbb2? I don't think it will, because I cannot find:
viewtopic.php
#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
$search = '<a href="' . $temp_url . '">' . sprintf($lang['Search_user_posts'], $postrow[$i]['username']) . '</a>';

Is there a version that will work for phpbb2?
