I've got same problem. Can somebody help please ?
both of you need to understand that the UOT mod automatically adds the color by itself, regardless of what your SCU legend is. as for no groups showing up, you need to re-check your index_body.tpl file and make sure the modifications are done correcty.
What's wrong ? I've got a template Saphic and in index_body is both of the steps wrong ...
But index_body can't influence run of this mod, or can ?

you need to edit your templates index_body.tpl file. from the picture posted by the other person, instead of saying "subSilver", it should have your templates name. but you need to make sure your templates index_body.tpl file is edited. thats where your groups show up at. ;)

well, first, you need a separate mod (its actually an addon included with this mod) for them to showup everywhere. as far as your incex_body.tpl, i can past the code for mine so you can get an idea of what it should look like (ill put it in bold).
<td class="row1" width="100%"><span class="gensmall">{TOTAL_POSTS}<br />
{TOTAL_USERS}<br />
{NEWEST_USER}</span></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<!-- SIMPLE COLORED USERGROUPS MOD BY Afterlife_69 (http://www.ugboards.com) AND kkroo (http://phpbb-login.sourceforge.net) START -->
<td class="row1" align="left"><span class="gensmall">{TOTAL_USERS_ONLINE}<br />{RECORD_USERS}<br />{GROUP_LEGEND}<br />{LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST}</span></td>
</tr>
<!-- SIMPLE COLORED USERGROUPS MOD END START -->

<tr>
<td height="20" class="row1"><span class="gensmall">{L_ONLINE_EXPLAIN}</span></td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->
<br />

no, you can install simple colored usergroups first. then there is an addon (in the contrib folder) called "scu_global". that will add color to memberlist.php, viewtopic.php, etc, etc, etc.

So i will install mod first!
Then I will open scu_global.mod , and i will make all steps
I will copy contrib/db_update.php
And in the end i will run http://www.my_adress.com/contrib/db_update.php

Are these steps right ?

I have a problem with installation, with this step :

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ IN-LINE FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
href="

#
#-----[ IN-LINE BEFORE, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
' . $mod_color . '
So what's right ?

this :
<a ' . $mod_color . ' href="

or this:
' . $mod_color . ' <a href="

What's right ?

It looks like you didn't apply the changes to all the files in contrib/scu_global.mod

Code: Select all

index.php
viewtopic.php
groupcp.php
viewforum.php
privmsg.php
includes/usercp_viewprofile.php
Did you?
No more spambots for phpBB2 and phpBB3.
