Thanks for the MOD.
It works great and is VERY easy to install :D

However, I have one question.
I dont know much about flash, how much load would this MOD put on my server?

I´m glad you like it.

I´m sure I know less about flash then you do but my guess is that it´s so little load that you don´t have to worry about it. I´m sure your Phpbb Plus 1.53 is putting a huge load on your server allready and this tiny clock won´t even be noticed.

Well done, Willy! :)

I would guess that your mod would have very little server load, because it mainly requires client-side interaction to determine the time from a users computer in a JavaScript type way and then display it - the server doesn't need to calculate anything, it just sends the clock image.

Looks like a cool little mod. I've edited the file, but don't understand this part:
copy root/relog.swf to relog.swf

Can someone explain what I need to do with the root file?
Thanks. :)

Just upload the file to Your forum folder.

"root" refers to the main directory of your forum - where config.php is.

Just tried doing it and it won't upload. Should I have a root folder in the main directory? I've tried uploading the whole root folder and then just the .swf file within it, but dragging and dropping it doesn't make it stay in the main directory. Any ideas?

No.. where config.php is is the "root" folder - regardless of it's actual name.

http://www.mysite.com/forums/index.php - /forums/ = root
http://www.somesite.com/phpbb/index.php - /phpbb/ = root

Okay. There is a .swf file within the root folder for the mod. Do I upload the whole folder or just the file within it. Seems like I tried both and they just aren't staying there...

Just copy the .swf file to the same dir as your config.php and follow the install.txt instructions - it should work.

I've been trying to do that, but for some reason dragging and dropping the file into that dir doesn't do anything. I'll have a play with it...thanks.
