Yes, simply modified the template files instead of subSilver's files

Directory 'files' is not writeable. You'll have to create the upload path and chmod it to 777 (or change the owner to you httpd-servers owner) to upload files.
If you have only plain ftp-access change the 'Attribute' of the directory to rwxrwxrwx.

I just don't know how chmod a path to 777 or whatever so can somebody please explain to a NOOB

Check the permissions of the forums, in advanced mode.
check your modifications in the file auth.php
Be sure you have uploaded all the files of the MOD.

Arrgl! Help please! I've installed this mod step by step and I'm pretty sure I didn't made any mistakes as I still have a fresh installed version of phpBB v2.0.10 without any other mods.
When I try to post a new message or want to open attachments or extensions CP in admin area I get the following error:

Template->make_filename(): Error - file does not exist

... I have no clue whats wrong! I'm using a different template than subSilver but made the changes to both styles. When I use subSilver everything works but not with the other style.

Could somebody help me? Is somebody using the DAJ_Glass style with this mod? I'm using it and it doesn't work together! I'm sure I've put all needed changes into the right places but I get the above mentioned error message.
Maybe somebody has a clue for this?

Make sure you add the mod included files in the templates folder to the other style as well. The files are in folder templates/subsilver/* but you have to copy them to every template you want this mod to work for.

No, some of the [FIND]'s are a little different, but it wasn't too hard.

Is there any other mod withthis setup that will work with phpbb 2.0.10

Btw: Could somebody point me to the file where I can change the code for the look of how inlined images appear in a message? The thin black frame around it and the texts like Filesize: etc.?

Attachment mod seems to be working fine, except that I cannot limit the file upload size. I have changed it to 400k in the Admin panel, but it is still letting big stuff in. I am using this for a student lecture note resource and would like to limit the size of files as many of these nurses use dial up and floppy disks. Any advice on where to look appreciated, I have had a look at the files in the attachmod subdirectlory and nothing seems too odd

I am using version phpBB 2.0.10 and Admin Userlist
