Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
#
templates/subSilver/posting_body.tpl

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# around line 258
<form action="{S_POST_ACTION}" method="post" name="post" onsubmit="return checkForm(this)">

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]---------------------------------------
#
<form action="{S_POST_ACTION}" method="post" name="post" onsubmit="return checkForm(this)" {S_FORM_ENCTYPE}>

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
# around line 462
	{POLLBOX}

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]---------------------------------------
#
	{ATTACHBOX}

I checked the code and then verified that i did it right for posting_body.tpl, and everything seems to be correct but i am still getting the same error.

Does it give you the error with any file you upload or only large ones?

I have installed the mod, but in the Admin page under "Attachments" on the side pannel i only get "Control Panel".

Any idea where i have gone wrong? Everything else works fine

That means you did not copy the admin/admin_attachments.php to your server.

Looking around the ACP for the attachment MOD, I see nowhere for the thumbnail size. I would like to make the thumbnail a smaller in size. Is the thumbnail size hard coded into the files or can that be changed through the ACP?

If it is in the code, where would it be found?

Hi,

I used the free hosting, so its database doesnt allow me to upload the .mp3.
So, can I install this MOD and then set ,when people upload files, it will upload to other storage which allow the mp3? How?

Thank you.

How will you install this mod without uploading its files to your host server?

That is hardcoded somewhere... There is code somewhere in this thread telling how to modify that... DavidIQ can probably find it for you.

You dont upload to a database. You upload to a directory.
What do you mean that your host will not allow uploads of MP3s?

but when everything I upload to directory, the directory is in the free database.
Because the copyright, so they dont allow people upload mp3 to their database.

OK, found the max_size for thumbnails and made the change. Now is there a way to resync the thumbnails so that they will reflect the new image size?

In addition, when someone clicks on the image, it currently opens up in the browser window, which is what we want, but we would rather have it open in _blank window.

Where in the code is that change made?

Where can I get the "changed files" for .22?

(Sorry, forgot I had asked this question before, and already had the answer.)

But, for those who are lazy, you can get the pre-mod files for the attachment mod at http://phpbb.davidiq.com/
