MOD installation

Post by DeBokte »

Ihave a problem understanding one thing here Gentleman. I sow in the installation.txt that I have to upload a file to my attach_mod folder in the root directory. The attach_mod folder does not exist in the root directory. Should I make a folder called attach_mod and if so where should I place it in order to have thing working?
Please advise because I am fairly new to this MOD adding.
Thanks in advance..

Hi, since I moved my site on a new Server I'm getting a very weird problem. Do you know in the admin panel the link "sync attachments"? Well, once I click on it instead of running it, Internet Explorer shows me the classic download window and try to download the admin_attachments.php file! It doens't execute it... any clue how to solve this? Thank you!

to be sure, upload a file info.php with this function

<?php

phpinfo();

?>

execute the file and check your max_upload_size :wink:

ouch. you got me. 2mb? that just won't work.

any idea how to change this? i'll obviously have to talk to my host. is it an easy fix?

you host must modify the file php.ini to change the value of upload_max_filesize :wink:

OK... now I just noticed I can change the attachment mod settings to use FTP settings instead. I did that, and now when I try to attach a larger file I get "No post mode specified"...

any ideas?

(i love you.)

No no error message it just refreshes the page and does not add an attachment.

hey morpheus haven`t seen you a while how`s going?! ;)

P.S.

I seen this in my Attachment Menagment, what does this means:
You are not able to use the FTP Upload Methods, because FTP Extensions are not compiled into your PHP Installation.
