mod-CH214d

Post by itaustralia » Mon Jun 05, 2006 12:07 pm

Is there a version of this that works with a vanila phpbb2 install and mod-CH214d installed.
I've tried 2 versions from the mod-CH214d site and they both fail
TIA

You'll need to go to ptrhik's CH website and download his version of attachment mod. Any problems you have with it you'll need to ask about over there as well.

You're excused :wink:
Do you have a redirect "fix" mod installed? You know...where when you post something it takes you straight to the topic and skips the confirmation page.

Well I could say they're not but in reality what's happening is that the redirecting is being done before the attachment is posted to the thread so it would basically need some tweaking to get it to work right with this mod. Use PasteBin link in my sig to post a link to your functions.php, functions_post.php, and posting.php files.

Searching for that phrase yields 344 postings (345 after this one) mostly in this very topic :roll:

You're missing the common.php edit.

Try this and let me know if it works:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
#
functions_post.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
redirect(append_sid("viewtopic.$phpEx?" . POST_POST_URL . "=" . $post_id) . '#' . $post_id, true);

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]---------------------------------------
#
$attachment_mod['posting']->insert_attachment($post_id);

Ok...undo that if you haven't already and try this instead:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
#
posting.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
				submit_post($mode, $post_data, $return_message, $return_meta, $forum_id, $topic_id, $post_id, $poll_id, $topic_type, $bbcode_on, $html_on, $smilies_on, $attach_sig, $bbcode_uid, str_replace("\'", "''", $username), str_replace("\'", "''", $subject), str_replace("\'", "''", $message), str_replace("\'", "''", $poll_title), $poll_options, $poll_length);

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]---------------------------------------
#
$attachment_mod['posting']->insert_attachment($post_id);

Alright...I'm pretty sure this'll work :roll:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
#
posting.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $return_message);

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]---------------------------------------
#
redirect(append_sid("viewtopic.$phpEx?" . POST_POST_URL . "=" . $post_id) . '#' . $post_id, true);

#
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
#
functions_post.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
redirect(append_sid("viewtopic.$phpEx?" . POST_POST_URL . "=" . $post_id) . '#' . $post_id, true);

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]---------------------------------------
#
//redirect(append_sid("viewtopic.$phpEx?" . POST_POST_URL . "=" . $post_id) . '#' . $post_id, true);
