No. The files are uploaded to the directory you specified as the upload directory in your Attachments Management config.

If you have access to your SQL database, ensure that the attachment settings were created properly...

It should have been done by the install.php in the install directory. The SQL statements themselves, if you want to do them manually, are in the install/schemas directory. The schema.sql sets up the table and the basic.SQL sets the values.

Are there any values to be set in the attachments_config table? Mine seems to be empty.

I tried running the schema.sql again and obviously ran into errors like- table already exists.

here is the sample result.

I'm loving this mod guys. Thanks for helping me, everything is running perfectly now! except one little thing..

I use thumbnails, but when i click a image to view the large version it pops up as a download. It works in preview...

I have never tried thumbnails :P

There are two spots that determine how an image is rendered...
Extensions Externsion Groups Control
Extensions Special Categories
From what I have seen from other users' posts, there is a bug in the interaction between these two. You might have to switch the Download Mode in the Externsion Groups Control for images to Physical from Inline and see what happens.

What are the possible reasons for the attach_id being 0 for an image file which results in the inability to "Upload New Version"

anyone?

Not sure how that would happen. If it's displaying then that would be even weirder. Does this happen often? I would assume that maybe the first attachment ever on your forum would be ID 0 unless the autoincrement skips 0.

No. It only just occured while editing a few of the related tpls. I cannot afford to reinstall them and I don't have a backup. All the uploads get "0". The best part of it was, when editing, I saw this change occur when in one of my posts, only one of the attachments i added had a valid ID (and had "upload new version") and that was one from before my editings. So I am completely stumped here.

Hi. I need some help friends. I am using 2.4.5 ver with phpbb 2.0.21

I have set Default Quota Limit=high (for upload and PM) and defined high to be 1 MB.
Filesize Maximum filesize for Attachments = 100KB
Maximum Filesize in Private Messages Folder = 100KB
Enable FTP Upload = no
But my registered users are able to make attachments beyond there quota limits ? Why :?:
Only registered users are allowed to post in my forum.

Am I missing something ? If I go to user Management panel and open details of any user it shows default quota limit "high".

Hope to get some help. :)
P.S. Please sorry for my poor english...

Are you sure ALL users are able to post beyond the limits or just your account? Admin accounts are not bound by quotas.

So you're saying that you went to Extension Groups Control, set a max filesize of 100kb for images there and users are still able to go over that? Quotas and this setting are two different things.

Well your template seems to be fine. Double-check your edits to posting.php. Are you using the FTP function? Turn it off if you are.
