Thanks -- I realized that's not the problem.

I see someone above is having the same trouble.. I tried setting it to upload through the FTP server, but that didn't work either.

Suggestions?

Hi,

before reading through 1200 pages ;-)

I want to have a short explanation window, instead of a blank window, when downloading an attachement. So something like you see, when you download from the MOD database over here. Does anybody already have such a feature included in the attachment MOD?

So in the viewtopic_attach_body.tpl it's following part:

{postrow.attach.attachrow.TARGET_BLANK}

Would be really great!

Thanks,
femu

The author of this mod abandoned it months ago. DavidIQ and I are just offering support for the existing mod. There will be no additions.

Too bad .... Ok. Then I'll look around, if someone else has an idea.

You can try looking in download.php for the part where the download is executed and do various print(); or echo(); statements to display whatever it is you're wanting to display. This may be a problem for images unless you add a handler that identifies images.

As you can see...it won't be an easy task if you're unsure what you're doing.

you could have made the install.txt less chaotic...
it's really hard to read

How so? I find it easy to read, as long as I open it in something besides Notepad...

It's no more chaotic than any other mod installation document on here :roll:
