As Brf already stated you replaced files that were modified when the mod was installed. You will need to go through the changed files for 2.0.22 and apply any attachment mod edits to those files. You will find that information in docs/install.txt

I opened that file docs/install.txt and don't know how to procede.
Can I do a fresh install and restore the backup that I did prior to the upgrade? Would the memberlist be the same or do members need to register again? Would the images attached before still be there?

OMG, you are a genius indeed. After hours of frustration, the forum is now back up. Those premodified files work like a charm. But there is a problem left, I cannot log on to the administrator panel. It goes into "page not found" error message. Any suggestions?

I would take a look at the URL you are getting redirected to (address bar contents) and try to figure out what went wrong. Attachment mod wouldn't be causing that in any case... ;-)

It goes to a default error message from godaddy.com. The url states:
http:///phpbb2/admin/index.php?sid=2ea3ec056dbed1ef2cb32a79d49bbe64

is there a way to resize image attachments as a user defined thumbnail sizes and then display then side by side in the posting instead of vertically?

for example, let's say my screen size is 800 wide, so instead of displaying images in the posts as:

(pic 1 - 800x800)
(pic 2 - 800x800)
(pic 3 - 800x800)
(pic 4 - 800x800)
(pic 5 - 800x800)
(pic 6 - 800x800)

i want it to be more like this: (resize first, then place side by side)

(pic 1 - 200x200) (pic 2 - 200x200) (pic 3 - 200x200)
(pic 4 - 200x200) (pic 5 - 200x200) (pic 6 - 200x200)

this saves users from unecessarily having to scroll down so much

After downloading the zip file it's in the docs/install.txt file.
