Does this work with 2.0.8 or 9

Post by fintan » Wed Jul 21, 2004 5:28 am

Will the pre-edited files in this mod work with 2.0.8 or 2.0.9? or do I need to edit by hand?

Pre-edited fiels are for phpBB 2.0.6.
So you can edit the files yourself or wait the next version of the MOD which will come with pre-edited fiels for phpBB 2.0.10 (but i don't know when)

...I had this MOD up and running great...I added another MOD and now I can't see the "Add Attachment" button anymore...I went through and changed the files that had been changed with the other MOD screw-up (posting.php & privmsg.php) but still no button...the attachment options are still in the control panel and the previous attachments are still there, it just seems to be making new attachments that is missing...

I'm sorry if this question has been posted before, but 300 pages is a lot to go through, and I didn't see it anywhere. I just finished installing this mod onto my ( previously unmodded) 2.06 forum. I made the necessary changes to the files, and to the different templates, but when I go into the admin panel and click on the attachment menus, there is no text where it should be, it is almost entirely blank, except for some menu options (Yes/No, etc.) Also, when I go to make a post, there is no menu to post an attachment.
Thanks

Edit: I fixed the no-text problem, but when I go to make a post, there still is no attachment menu.

Thanks morpheus
I have tried to edit them by hand and it looks like I do everything right but then have problems getting into the forum. I will again, if not I will wait for the new version

Hello.

I'm using phpBB 2.0.10 .

I just finished installing your software on a forum that has no other hacks installed.

Whenever i attempt to view a thread, regardless if it has an attachment or not i get this error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/aforum/public_html/viewtopic.php on line 248

no other errors are returned.

I'm thinking i typoed somewhere in the code, but i can't seem to find the root of the problem.

this is what line 248 of viewtopic.php is:

message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $message);

Please Help.

ohh, I am installing this at www.aforum.us .

hey guys, I just finished installing the attatchment mod onto my phpbb 2.0.6 forums and it looks like everything is installed correctly, the forums are up and stuff but for some reason you can't reply to a post, make new threads, or use any of the new features in the admin panel. the error that comes up is............
Template->make_filename(): Error - file does not exist

does anyone know how this can be fixed? the forum template used is DustyGreen.
