Database field for currency; If your gonna use shop mod or other mods that require cash then should be user_points
Number of decimals for currency: whether you want your currency to show like 1=23 2=23.3 3=23.34
Default value for currency: how much you want users to start off having
Hope that helps

k im not quite understanding the user_ part... wouldn't that be going by woteva ur mysql's setup as...

n i dun understand this too well, it seemed like a great idea.... with the basic cashmod, wot are people allowed to gain money from? and its ok to have just the one 'currency' right? and then decimals after that...
and when i make a post it isnt giving me money sometimes, it says i have exceeded the allotted amount?

sorry *very confused*

The user_* part is what the field that will hold the amount of points each user has should be named in your database, if you plan on using a shop mod (or any other points mod) make it user_points.

go into your posting.php (ard line 195)

I guess there is a , usercash (whatever) $sql =

Just put that ,usercash (whatever, into After $sql xxx (under instructions given about posting.php)

This happen if you using EasyMod to install Cash Mod or any other MOD.

I get the same thing, but when I go to line 195, it only says:

AND f.forum_id = t.forum_id";

What do I do to fix that?

yes its an option in the control panel. just create the store or such for them to buy stuff, and the special store comes with the mod.

Problem with Install

Post by GameAccounts »

I cant find where it says $emailer->reset(); in privmsg.php

Can you tell me what line that is on? I did ctrl + f with different keywords, and I searched up and down the whole thing by myself a few times.

For my site I need a function giveUserCredits($username, $credits), which does the following:

- finds a currency with field name 'user_credits'
- gets the value of this field for the username (NOT ID)
- adjusts the value by the number in $credits which may be negative
- performs a sanity check on this data (ie. >0)
- writes in back to the database.

I've tried to write code to do this myself, but now I'm stuck. Could someone write it for me please, or give me some pointers to more comprehensive documentation?

TIA,
- QS Computing.

EDIT: Problem solved, never mind.

hi,

I've just ran an installation of EasyMod and it reported saying everything is fine.

I then used it to install CashMod and again it said everything was installed fine.

Now when i click on threads and the member list it says this:-

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?

Any idea's. I installed cashMod on a brand new installation of phpbb ( .16 version ) and the only change I had made to it was adding another theme (Solaris) but I had to put the default subsilver as the default style again as when I had solaris as the default, the EasyMod panel in the ACP was not accessible when I clicked on it (the pasword screen did'nt appear).

Can anyone help?

Many thanks!
