You are correct. There is no way to specify specific users to have a cash-modifying priv.

Is there any possible way to modify the cash mod to put a limit or cap per day on how many points or whatever your currency is? So say I use the cash mod as a way for my guild to earn promotions, I have it set so all the leaders in our guild can hand out these points to members when they see them do something for another person, run an event, whatever. But I want to make sure that if 4 leaders see this person doing something the person doesn't get a bajallion points. This is where my 300 point per day cap comes in, any mods out there I can use to add to the cash mod or is there a way to modify it to do this?

Type the name of the mod and version number into yahoo, you should be able to find the direct link to download the file from the phpbb.com website. The links are all kinds of messed up since the update to the site ;)

It's been a while since I've visited here ( :oops: ) .... but I've got something that's been perplexing me. Here's my problem:

In the Cash Groups area, whenever I try to "Add" (or "Omit", or "Remove", or "Set") some points for a group I've created, it doesn't do anything: None of the members of the group are allocated the proper amount of points.

However, it works just fine for the "Administrators" and "Moderators" groups (and I think it's simply because those groups are there by default).

Any ideas on where I should look?

Getting this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function post_vars() on a non-object in /home/.opie/smosey/godlygals.com/board/includes/usercp_viewprofile.php on line 260

Code: Select all

$cm_viewprofile->post_vars($template,$profiledata,$userdata);

$template->pparse('body');

include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/page_tail.'.$phpEx);

?>
Help?

Did you do the required changes to profile.php and uploaded the changed file?

Is cash showing OK everywhere else? memberlist? viewtopic?

If not, check the edit to common.php

If so, try this:
In profile.php replace this:

Code: Select all

if ( (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['mode']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['mode'] == 'viewprofile')) || (isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['mode']) && ($HTTP_POST_VARS['mode'] == 'viewprofile')) )
{
With this:

Code: Select all

if ( (isset($_GET['mode']) && ($_GET['mode'] == 'viewprofile')) || (isset($_POST['mode']) && ($_POST['mode'] == 'viewprofile')) )
{

I have never tried this....

Actually "Administrators" and "Moderators" are not groups. They are user levels.

Sorry, but that's a BankMOD support question and this is a CashMOD support discussion. I'd check up with Zarath himself, however I wouldn't count on him or anyone else giving support for that outdated modification.
