Hello,

i need some testers for my archive MOD,

heres the link:

things to note:

a) use at own risk
b) you cant _yet_ get topics back out of archive
c) archives are stored as xml files
d) read the author notes:

the only way around the mozzila bug is if you dont mind you posted been showed like this

any complaints about this bug should be sent to mozilla asking them to sort out their 'disable-output-escaping' bug, thanks,

like i suggested.. backup before you archive.. then you have a fall back plan.

hmm i dont see the point in that since then everyone would be able to read the pm's, so no, i wont be making that function anytime soon, maybe after i get it out of the beta stage

Is it not possible to continue development with a warning about the use of it because of the mozzila bug? Sort of a "user beware - use at your descretion."

Just wondering if the archived topics could be searched? Also when topics are archived what happens to the database tables which stores the post texts and the search.

Oh and is there a demo of it somewhere? As in I would like to see the output.

What's the status of this mod? Has it been incorporated into the current system, or is work on it dormant, or was it replaced by something ese?
